Our Story

We spent over two decades importing lighting — designing, sourcing, and building collections for others. What we loved most were the Edison bulbs. Not the novelty, but the glow. That soft, warm light that filled a room like music fills a space — slow, golden, and human.

When filament bulbs were banned, it felt like something was gone for good.

Then we 3D printed a lamp for our kids. We weren’t expecting much. But when we turned it on, the light felt familiar. It was warm, diffused, and inviting. More than that, the lamp itself looked beautiful — even when it was off.

That was the beginning of ambr.

We design and print every lamp in Los Angeles using sustainable materials and minimal waste. Each piece is sculpted to feel as intentional. We believe good lighting should look as good unlit as it does glowing.
